“Love the chairs. They feel comfortable, well made and durable. Only feedback is that they are a bit tall. I saw other petite reviewers saying the same - I'm 5'1" and my feet don't touch the floor, but that's my only critique. The main reason I purchased this was for environmental and human impact reasons. It's important to me that workers are paid an ethical wage, and that these chairs are recycled. I would definitely recommend them!”
“Super easy to set up. I really like that I can arch backwards because the chair is so flexible yet supportive. Great lower back support. It's also preventing my bad habit of sitting cross-legged because the seat is really only big enough for your bum and hamstrings to rest on it. And finally, it's very breathable because of the holes, so no more damp bum!”
“The chair itself is beautiful, comfortable, and unique. It's clear that there was a lot of attention devoted to every aspect of the design - from the legs, to the seat, to the clever packaging.
However, I found that the naked chair is too hard to comfortable sit on for an extended period of time. A topper helps, but that raises the effective price of the chair from $375 to $525. The topper itself is somewhat disappointing given its $150 price tag: is thin, doesn't fit well, and (even as a wool lover!) is extremely scratchy.
I am conflicted. I want to like the chair because it is comfortable and unique, but the price is simply outrageous. If the topper were included in the base price, I would would consider buying more. But, as it stands, I simply can't justify paying this much for a plastic chair - it would be cheaper to buy high-end furniture made of premium materials.”
“Amazing chair! Incredibly comfortable, stylish and environmentally conscious. I love this concept especially knowing how much plastic and fishing net waste ends up in our oceans each year. 10 stars for NOHO!”
