To address your concerns, we don't include any fragrance in our Phresh Cleanser to avoid irritation on the skin. And we're always trying to minimize our environmental impact. We've recently removed excess plastic and now use a recyclable cardboard package to ship product. We also use biodegradable packing peanuts that are made from naturally derived starches like wheat and cornstarch that can dissolve in water. We're actively working to release packaging that's more eco-friendly and has less plastic, but we're also committed to efficiency and lowering our environmental impact, not just paying it lip service. We'll get better with time to be sure, but the feedback of passionate voices like yours really fuels us to be better and hold ourselves accountable.

“I'm writing this review after using up my first set of products, having just ordered another, this time on auto subscription. I've struggled with acne since a teenager and have done Accutane x2. Now in my 30s, I still have hormonal breakouts as well as weekly whiteheads and blackheads, but using Phyla seems to have cut this down at least 50% so far. This set of products has allowed me to cut my skincare routine to just Phyla and pimple patches around my period, and the occasional mask or scrub. I feel great knowing that when I put this product on my skin at night, my face will look clearer and more moisturized in the morning, instead of dried out from harsher products. I'd really like to be able to use with a Phyla sunscreen that I know won't kill the phages. For now I used the Self Reflect from Kinship as it avoids the ingredients which kill the phages, hoping it's okay to keep using. I love the effectiveness of the moisturizer, living in dry Colorado, but would greatly prefer it in an airtight container such as the ones Drunk Elephant uses, especially for the price.”
