“This was a great surprise to me. I had ordered a Jargar string but it was out of stock. SimplyforStrings staff suggested the Larsen, which is more expensive but I thought: why not! And it is terrific. I love it. I think I'll be saving to complete the rest of the set with Larsen strings.”
“It was the first time I've bought a cello string (I've only been learning to play the cello since February last year and have an old second-hand cello with pre-loved strings), so my feedback is with no prior experience to compare this with. But the new string has been such a joy and pleasure to play that I was actually quite stunned at first! Maybe that would be the difference one would experience whenever they use a new string for the first time, I don't know. But that's all the feedback I can offer. I've had no issues with it, but also I haven't had it for very long yet. But it feels and sounds great to play that string!”
