“Just set it up, cannot comment on durability. No proper user manual, a bit like during the ordering and shipping where I wasn't helped by the Tentsile support about shipping delay. For example we saw a nice youtube video for the setup... which doesn't explain that there are floor straps (so our first night was painful... we were sinking to the middle... back ache in the morning!).”

“The Safari is worth every penny and more. We just upgraded, and while we really liked the Stingray, we love the Safari’s sturdiness, as well as the coloring. Lying in it is a mini-vacation every time. Thank you team!”

“I found myself looking at this tent through the eyes of my young self, who used to climb trees and dream of different ways to make bridges and clubhouses in the air where you feel free and on top of the world. I was excited to see that this can be a reality, and bring my whole family something I only dreamed of being able to do when I was young. I looked at this tent through my engineering and technology eyes, criticizing and challenging the build and setup methods of this tent and again marveled at how spot on this is. I watched all the videos from Tentsile on this tent, searched for user videos and reviews, and I kept coming away with such excitement to get it and start using it everywhere I could. Living in Kansas, you don't have as many exciting opportunities to create unique camping rigs, so this was something I could bring to my area to enhance the view and experience without traveling to more majestic regions. I ran into my backyard and started to measure out connecting points and ran into a problem; all of my trees are too far apart. I lost hope, I could feel the dream slipping by me, and I was frustrated I couldn't make this work. But wait, what if I reached out to Tentsile and they could help me figure this out...and so they did. They provided excellent information and even suggested different ratcheting straps to handle the distances and required tension. They brought my dream back to reality! So where am I today you wonder, well, I have set up my Safari Stingray 3-Person Tree Tent (3.0) in my backyard for its permanent placement until I take it down to explore other areas in the world from a birdseye view. It took some thought to install it, but the provided instructions and videos are beneficial, it still just takes some experience to get it right. I can't tell you how many times I have slept in it at this point, at least once a week since I purchased it. I find it more comfortable than our expensive bed! I placed this tent pretty high up, around eleven feet up from the ground, to be higher up but also be able to leave it up and mow the yard without hitting it. My daughters (8 & 5 y.o.) can climb up the webbing ladder and get into their mystical world they create up there. My eight year old thinks it is her reading spot, so I do have to remind her often that it is my bed in the trees! On a straight product review side, I would say the following: Quality 5/5, comfort 5/5, setup 4.8/5 (after the first time), ease of care 5/5, price or ROI 5/5, customer care and support 5/5. To sum this all up, how do you rate something that brings so much joy to myself and my family, even just by looking at it from afar. How do you measure something that friends/family see and go "what the hell is that, wait, is that a tent?! How cool, can I get in?" I think everyone should have one of these in their backyard, and I look forward to finding all the places in the world that I can set this up and have a new view from above. Thank you, Tentsile, for being you, and I can't wait to see what comes next! Oh, I chose this particular one because of the thicker hammock layer since I intend to use it four seasons, and because it had the attached shell for some safety reasons with my kids being in it so high up. I will eventually get another hammock layer and build a combination six-person tent, just couldn't get the green light on that purchase initially from "the boss" (my wife)!”

“Got my Tentsile Safari Stingray 3.0 yesterday. Got up in the woods right away, and spent the night there. Set it up in like 20 minutes with just the picture from the bag. The tent is really heavy duty and I will not hesitate to bring it on trips year around. I live in Sweden. I will use it mostly out on islands in west Sweden where it is a problem with regular tent. So far 10 out of 10.”

“When they say this thing is well made, that is an understatement, it's a work of art in a world full of cheap garbage. When they say it's comfortable, it's not an overstatement. Only thing that could be improved are the instructions for first timers, but honestly, we got it setup on our first attempt in like 10 min, so I'm just nit picking at this point.”

“Superior quality! We have been wanting a tree tent for a while. Ordering from Tentsile was easy and they answered all of my questions prior to ordering. Since we have an abundance of wildlife in the National Park, it was fascinating to be off of the ground and hear everything at our camp site. My wife felt safe and now all of our friends want one because of how cool it is. The Safari was the way to go for me because I am all about quality and things that last. You can’t find something on this tent that was overlooked. I love the material for the mesh, floor and seams. The only thing that can throw a bit of a learning curve is setup. Ratchet a little at a time and test it. It’s not a bit deal to reposition and re-ratchet. After the second attempt of set up, it was perfect and we slept well. I’m hoping to get some of the floor sheets soon just to keep the inside looking new for a long time. Buy this tent and you won’t regret it. You’ll have it for a while!”
