“This case is great. If you're looking for something that fully enclosed your pi, and looks (and feels) solid, this is the case for you.
The only note I would give, if you're planning to use the pi camera with this case I'd recommend purchasing a long ribbon cable, as I had to route the cable out of the slot designed for the gpio connector.
This case is probably best suited to a media player application or a standalone server/desktop replacement, I.e. Not ideal for modding as the aluminum cannot be cut or drilled so easily.”
“After much umming and ahhing over which case to get for the new Raspberry Pi 2 B+ I plumped for the FLIRC one. It is a little pricier than the alternatives but the quality and fit is superb. Very simple put together in about 2 mins with 4 screws and a pad for the heatsink. All the slots line up with all the outputs perfectly and it feels like it's built to last. Highly recommended for the new Pi!”
“Pro: This is the best case I have (and also seen) for a raspberry pi, well engineered, excellent fit, robust, it isn’t scooted across the desk by cable tension sits where it is put!. Cunning slots let you feed the ribbon cables out and see some led indicators.
Cons: you cant see the lovely naked pi inside, bit short on instruction, though with a bit of googling I was happy that the integral heatsink and pad wasn’t going to imprison my pi inside it forever.”
