I kind of bought this by mistake because my first Pi4 (4GB) was refusing to boot and I blamed the board, and went online and ordered this 8GB model and a Flirc aluminium case. Next day I found the SD card was corrupted and there was nothing wrong with the board. So now I have two Rpi 4s. I am pleased with the 8GB and (this may be subjective) it seems to be a bit snappier when running an X desktop and starting apps.

What can I say that thousands haven't already. This is a PC smaller than my wife's purse. What more could you ask for? I've recently had to start learning some Linux for work and this was a great place for me to start as I learn hands on. I love the Pi and the possibilities it brings. The fact that this small factor has WiFi, Bluetooth, up to 4k output, multiple USB ports is just amazing. Honestly possibly in the top 10 purchases that are worth their weight in gold. The description and details on the PiHut site helps decide what you need and what extras are required.

Just super happy. This is my first Pi and I needed to create a network file server to put all my music and photos, and with the Pi it was nice and easy to do and I've also managed to configure it using Open Media Vault as a DLNA server so my wife can play music from it onto our smart TV which is a bonus. I use USB storage as my DASD and my Pi is connected to my hub on an ethernet in a Flirc case and the whole thing cost a fraction of a commercial NAS drive and was a boat load of fun to build.
