The espresso is creamy and has flavor notes, even on my first and second try. Once I watched the 9Barista Youtube direction video, I had no problem. I have an induction stove, so it has taken longer to get to froth because I am concerned with using a higher heat setting, even with the required induction plate. I assembled everything much faster my second use, it is really quite easy because this wonder of engineering and form-follows-function espresso maker is, well, intuitive. It is built to precision and solid. My only dislike is the plastic chimney.
