1. COLLECTING INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE

When you create a business profile on the Website, we collect the following master data: Your name, company address, domain, company name, country, password and your email address. The purpose of the collection of this information is to identify you as a customer when you log on to the Website. Furthermore, you can choose to add more information to your business profile, such as your details, website and company information. If you are a customer of Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io, we also collect information relevant to the fulfilment of the agreement between you and us.
When you write a reply to a review made by a user about your company, we collect the information you state in the reply, including company details and your name.
1.4 IP ADDRESSES
When visiting the Website, the IP address of your computer is registered. The IP address is the numerical address of the computer used when visiting the Website. The IP address is registered to enable Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io to trace the used computer in case of misuse or unlawful actions in connection with the visit on or use of the Website. Further, the IP address is used to derive your approximate location (city level).
2. DISCLOSURE OF DATA

The company information you insert when signing up or when updating your company profile page will be available for other users of the Website.
Other information provided by you on the Website, including your replies to users' reviews, are automatically made available for other users of the Website.
2.2. DISCLOSURE TO OTHER SERVICES
A main purpose of the Website is to increase the exposure and the availability of the reviews made on the Website. Hence, we permit other third party services to show the reviews, including but not limited to companies' replies, created on the Website thus increasing other consumers' knowledge of Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io and the reviews. We do not share any personal contactable data with these companies.
The categories of third parties to which the information is disclosed are:
- Search engines, including e.g. Google and Bing
- Companies or services that have been reviewed on the Website or which have a relationship with Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io
If you write a reply to a review, your reply is disclosed when you make it available on the Website and disclosed in accordance with the above mentioned.
2.3. OTHER DISCLOSURE
Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io may be required to disclose information by a court order from a competent court of law or public authority in accordance with the existing legislation.
As the Data Controller we allow the companies being reviewed to see contactable data provided by the reviewer, in a secure digital environment.
3. DATA CONTROLLER VS. DATA PROCESSOR
3.1. DATA CONTROLLER
Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io becomes the data controller once a review has been written.
3.2. DATA PROCESSOR
We keep the review data and other personal data, for as long as you have a publicly published review with our services. If you choose to delete your review we will delete all personal data including your name, email address and the associated review. If you have been invited to leave a review via an invite sent by our solution by a Data Controller then we will automatically delete your information after 360 days. If you would like your information deleted sooner, you can request this by emailing email@example.com.
4. DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT
From 25th of May 2018 a pre-signed data processing agreement, can be found in the client dashboard at dash.reviews.co.uk shall regulate the data processing activities to be carried out in accordance with the services offered by Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io. By logging into the business dashboard after the 25th May 2018 you are agreeing to the details set forth in the data processing agreement.
5. SECURITY MEASURES
Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io will see to that the recorded data, including the personal information, is handled carefully and protected properly following the currently applicable safety standards. Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io regularly audits its system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io cannot ensure or warrant the security of information you transmit to Reviews.co.uk and/or REVIEWS.io.
6.1. THIRD PARTY COOKIES
We may provide cookie and a de-identified data to trusted 3rd parties, this data is used for matching to other data about you to improve the relevance of online advertising and personalisation. Your actual email address is at no time shared with our 3rd party partners. Third party Cookies are set by third party websites – not our Website. Further, the IP address is used to derive your approximate location and verify your review as genuine. IP data is removed after 30 days unless a review is written in which case the IP data is retained until the review is deleted or a removal request has been actioned.
