Placed an order (166427) for an rc car for my daughters Christmas present, didn’t receive it, I contacted menkind to chase it who promptly replied with a proof of delivery and suggested I check with my neighbours.
I told them I hadn’t approved any safe place, hadn’t received a card letting me know which neighbour it was left with, and the proof of delivery photo didn’t even show a door number.
Have had no response since and their number - 0333 240 5733 - never connects to anyone (just rings out and goes to voicemail) so will likely have to go to trading standards, will definitely avoid using this company going forward. I will also be contacting the police as a neighbour stealing my parcel is obviously a crime, hopefully MenKind will be more enthusiastic with them to find my order.
As it stands though, the law says MenKind is responsible for refunding or (ideally) replacing the lost item I purchased since I never authorised any safe place nor was the parcel handed to anyone on my property.
MenKind also replied to my Negative review on TrustPilot claiming to be sorry and to have made contact, however as of 10 hours later they have not contacted me or replied to any emails, I guess it’s purely an act to make it appear they are attentive to those reading review, but it’s just a lie
