We were bought a spa breaks experience by my sister back in March just before lockdown 1, this was for the fire and ice experience at the Belfry, when we eventually were able to book a date we were told by spa breaks that fire and ice wasn’t available and we had to choose another offer, prices had increased and the experiences were not as good as what we had been gifted, so we looked for another location with a better value deal, spa breaks we’re trying to get us to take a lesser value deal, but we would loose the rest of the value of the gift voucher and told us we couldn’t have a refund. We chose another deal at The Welcombe hotel and had to add money to the experience as their prices weren’t the same, our experience was cancelled again due to lockdown 2 and a credit note was issued by spa breaks, trying again to book for next year but prices have increased again and we are not able or willing to pay anymore money, spa breaks should be honouring experiences at the price they were when we originally booked, it’s a licence to entice customers to accept lesser value experiences or extract more money for an equivalent value experience which we had originally purchased. They don’t respond to emails even emails to their managing director. We notice that their CEO and owner are not contactable and the customer service is abismle. We still don’t have a break in place and are waiting for spa breaks to contact us. Daylight robbery.
