Was waiting for a sports equipment delivery from Germany, received an email and a text from xdp informing me about the reception of the parcel on their end and a tracking number. Was very happy as I have been waiting for this order for over a month and understandably due to Covid19 and Brexit delays were to be expected especially on international service. Was meant to receive the parcel on 09.03.21 between 6:30-9:30. I made sure everyone at home knew about the delivery so it wouldn't be missed. Unfortunately, there was no delivery. Instead the following day I received a message on the tracking application informing me that my parcel has been successfully delivered at 7:06 as scheduled the day before with my apparent signature on it which was basically my first name in capital letters. I am a grown-up man and use my surname to sign for anything, not a first name written in capitals. I would really like to get an explanation of what has happened. I have checked with neighbors and none of them could tell me that they have received the parcel for me. I have emailed the company with all the details of the apparent delivery as when calling was left waiting for good 25 minutes with no answer. I would have never used the service of this company after reading some horrible reviews on here unfortunately the company that I bought equipment from is based in Germany. I will be contacting them too to inform them about the situation. This is simply unacceptable and from what I can see I am not the only person losing money on receiving completely unprofessional service from XDP. Peter
