I phoned A & D, whom I have used before, because our hot water tank wasn't shutting off properly and was overflowing. The phone was answered, by a human being (yes, this is worth mentioning!) and I was given the charging rates and told a plumber would visit in the afternoon. This he duly did, even after negotiating the difficulties of parking in Cambridge. Although the tank is rather awkwardly located, the work to replace the valve was done very quickly and appears to have solved the problem. Would recommend.
