When I tried to exit the car park the barrier would not lift and I was informed I need to pay and additional fee of over £100. I called for assistance and after several minutes I was informed I had booked short stay and had parked in the wrong place. I advised the person on the other end of the phone that I had booked priority and was asked if I had my booking with me. Luckly I did have my booking with me although it was in my luggage. A member of staff came out to look at my booking and confirmed to the barrier operator that I had indeed booked priority. This all took some 15 minutes however even after this the barrier failed to lift taking two further attempts before it did so.
