Living 20 miles from Aberdeen airport, we frequently have offers from friends to take us to the Airport when we go on holiday. However, our 6 am flight would involve a very early start for them also. We have tried staying at an airport hotel, and using the free parking, but have returned to find the car under a foot of snow. We find the Holiday Special rate the best solution, paying a little extra to use the short-stay car park, providing peace of mind in the knowledge that we will neither have difficulty finding the car, nor have to dig it out.
