After receiving the official ABRSM exam result, the marks were changed without any notice or explanation.
The final category remained “Pass”, but some individual scores — including for a piece — were lowered.
Such actions undermine trust in the system: if published results can be revised retrospectively with no transparency, there is no way to feel confident in the fairness or consistency of the process.
We no longer trust ABRSM as a reliable system of objective assessment.
