We were unexpectedly charged $2.00 by a company called ActivateVPN.com under the billing name GMOHYA.COM. This charge was not authorized. We contacted ActivateVPN and they said they would cancel subscription (which we never applied for) but would not issue a refund.
After contacting our bank, we were advised to cancel the card and have a new one issued to prevent further unauthorized transactions.
If anyone else has experienced this, we recommend checking your bank statements, disputing the charge, and securing your payment information immediately.
