I tried unsuccessfully to claim from the Airline myself. Air Delay was successful with the same claim. Although I paid roughly 30% of the total compensation to Air Delay it was worth it aswithout them I would have got 100% of nothing! They are now in the process of dealing with a second claim on my behalf.
