I ordered two pieces of furniture and purchased next day delivery. I was emailed on the day of delivery to say that the furniture would be delivered the following day. I rang the company over three times trying to get to the bottom of the issue, as I had taken a day off work and had driven 80 miles to be at home to receive the parcels. The company repeatedly told me they'd "speak to the manager" and call me back, but then didn't. Eventually I had a call from a private number explaining they had had problems in the warehouse. I was not offered a refund for the next day delivery charge I had paid. When the goods were delivered the boxes they came in were not damaged. However, when I opened them the furniture was damaged in the corners and the paint was peeling off significantly. I filled out two damages forms online in respect of the two items that day. I received no receipt for the forms. I rang the company the next working day to be told they'd ring me back. They did not. The next day, I rang three times and was told the same thing. I was not called back. Today I have rang twice to be told they will ring me back, and still nothing. I am very skeptical about the company and am considering reporting them to trading standards. The customer service is poor, and the quality of the product is poor, especially as I paid so much for my items. Perhaps this review will prompt them to get in contact with me ASAP as I am running out of patience!!
