My skirt didn`t fit me and needed letting out. I took it to my local dry cleaners but they said there wasn`t enough seam allowance to do that. It was one of my favourite skirts so I decided to get a second opinion. When I came Alterations Boutique the seamstress also confirmed that there wasn`t enough seam allowance. She said I had two options: she could copy the skirt for me or she could extend the skirt by inserting extra panels. I chose the first option. The seamstress recommended a fabric shop. Luckily, I was able to buy pretty much exactly the same fabric for my new skirt. There were buckles on the original skirt which the seamstress were going to transfer to the new skirt. The skirt was ready two weeks later and I was very excited to pick it up. It looked even better than the original and the fit was great. Thank you so much!
