My advice from the experience I had on their social tour, specifically to Cebu, Philippines is GO, just GO! Do not write any letters unless you have a seat on a plane! There is no substitute for being there, no real need to write anyone. The key factor is you must be physically there. Arrive with a list of possibilities and sort through the profiles when you get there. But you have to get there.
