The Only Good Thing Was The Price I paid for an LG 65 inch OLED TV and a LG soundbar which the website said were in stock. Next day I was emailed by Appliances Online/Villawood Betta and told the soundbar was not in stock. I was given the option to wait for the soundbar to come from the supplier and foolishly agreed. After 3 business days I changed my mind and asked for the TV without the bar since the Olympics started the following week. I then waited 7 days for the TV to be delivered from Sydney to Melbourne. So it arrived in Week 2 of the Olympics. On 7 August 2024, six business days after I asked for the unavailable soundbar to be dropped from my order, I have received no communication about refunding me the $800 paid for the soundbar. I have just rung Appliances Online and been told a refund takes 2 – 3 business days. An unsatisfying thing to hear when I’ve waited six days and no sign of a refund. At the moment I’m waiting on a callback.
