Used the self service check out and had to find a member of staff to get a carrier bag. Then the member of staff has to scan the bag(s). So they trust you enough to scan your own groceries, but not a carrier bag that use to be free anyhow.
Getting less cashier tills and more self service ones. So less staff needed, so saves money, but this isn't reflected in the prices
