The hotel is excellently situated just off the A1(M) so very easy to get to. Our room was spotlessly clean and a very good size with a very large bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in all departments and the restaurant food was of a very good standard. We visited on an oustanding 'deal' that included B&B plus 1 dinner and also tickets to Beamish museum.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit to this hotel.
