ATBBQ is my favorite BBQ web store, no one else comes close. Chef Tom is the best advertising you could possibly have. Of course, his videos produce revenue by featuring products you stock, but more importantly to me, they are very instructional. He clearly is skilled in his craft and appears to have management's support for the R&D and preparation necessary for such a high quality program. It would be great if he were able to respond to every legitimate question and comment to his videos, but I know that is impossible. If it were feasible for you to provide more resources to increase those responses, I hope you do so.
My biggest purchase from ATBBQ was the YS640S, so a couple of observations about that: . I didn't like having to wait 7 weeks or so for delivery. Who would?? However, I did discover that others had previously waited much longer. The price of an excellent product... Not your fault. Perhaps periodic updates would be helpful, but you may not have any new information to pass on. It might be possible to automate that. Once, I did call, and the lady was very helpful. In fact, she saw my voicemail just before closing time but still returned the call anyway and provided very useful information about my shipping date. Also, your choice of shipper, FedEx, was excellent. Another point: I've seen several who complain about the marketing of the heat deflector with the door about the fire box. I ordered this option, and now have a standard deflector that I have no need for, and that is taking up space. In my opinion, you diminish your customers' affinity by this marketing strategy--and Yoder's too since ATBBQ and Yoder are affiliated.
My overall impression is that you are an excellent organization which is committed to excellent customer service. From this customer's view, Chef Tom and your YouTube channel are invaluable to your success. Keep it up and I'll keep shopping.
