Getting ready to test drive a car, I wanted to verify some information found on a vehicle sales website. I used one of the links offered and what a surprise! The first thing I noticed was the vehicle we were going to see, listed at 49k miles, actually had 107k miles. Wasn't able to to find record of accident I'd seen in non-dealer ad, but knowing the odometer had been messed with was evidence that I did not want to use the dealer that has the car. While everything else checked out on the report, that one piece of information stopped what could have been a serious mistake. The vehicle history also made me aware that the car had been in coastal south Florida, so rust was a probability. I also printed the vehicle checklist to take with us when we find a better fit. Great site.
