Have been advised today by Avro (even though a previous e Mail on 1 Sept advised an increase of 12.54%) that our dual energy bills will be increased by 39%. Unfortunately, their response to every question is “standard”. No interest in trying to reduce the increase and stated that theirs is the best price and all other energy companies are in the same place. Not true, have this morning switched to another provider and incurred an increase of just over 11%. Sad thing is that our £400 credit will not be processed for 7 weeks and then a further 10 days to reach our bank account. Would not recommend this company.
