They are light and easy to slip on/off for quick trips outside but I'm not used to backless clog style shoe so it is taking a bit of getting use to for me. I still find I'm using my old battered gardening shoes when I'm doing heavier work just because I feel more stable on my feet. I would prefer a shoe with a proper back when working at the back of the border or carrying a lot of material around.
