We offered backdoor shoes as Christmas presents to our family. We already have a pair each which we use regularly when we need to go outside - hanging out the washing, collecting logs for the fire, putting rubbish in the bins, etc. etc. - and are huge fans. Comments from our family about their backdoor shoes - very, very comfortable, rather stylish and really useful when stepping outdoors.
