The shoes are perfectly fine and do what they say they will do. However, in these more enlightened times when we daily witness the effects of plastic clogging up the planet I was amazed and saddened to see the product arrive in its very own single-use plastic bag. Why????!! What a waste of packaging!! ... and money! ... and resources. The plastic bag went straight in the bin. I bought some trousers from an online retailer recently and the parcel that arrived a few days later contained not one iota of plastic, just paper/cardboard packaging. Why you need to wrap your shoes up in a specially-made plastic bag is a mystery!
