I'm pleased with the changes in sole design. It changes the way the foot strikes the ground. This means shoe is less likely to slip especially on slimey Caithness slates. I notice that the heel is thicker which changes the body balance also helping to stop slips.
The grip is also improved with the knobbley tread.
