My experience with Baltic Travel Company and liaising with Daina during the booking of our trip to Iceland (a surprise birthday present for my partner), throughout our stay and on our journey home. Daina was so helpful with booking our transfer flights, and assisting with modifying our itinerary so it suited us perfectly. We had an extra day in Reykjavik as a result of airport strikes and Daina was able to assist and support us whilst we were there, as well as helping with receiving our invoice from the hotel so we could claim this back from BA. The holiday itself was so memorable and Iceland is a beautiful country to visit. The landscape is breathtaking and unlike anywhere else I've been to, all of the tours that we had pre-planned were so well orchestrated and hassle-free meaning that we were able to enjoy the sights of the Golden Circle, the South Coast and the Northern Lights (once we eventually had good enough weather to see them!). The city of Reykjavik was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the city itself was amazing to walk through. We also had a trip to the Sky Lagoon which was a brilliant place to relax between our excursions. Overall, myself and my partner had the most wonderful time and made some amazing memories. We are both NHS workers so trying to get annual leave for both of us is nearby impossible so making this time worthwhile has been a blessing.
