I have worked as a nurse for Barchester for 2 and half years, and can honestly say that an excellent service and standard of care is provided for our residents. Compared with other nursing homes I have had experience of, Kernow house is exceptional. Good training and opportunities for progression are provided. Nowhere is perfect, and I would say that a complete overhaul of their care planning, record keeping and paperwork as a whole is desperately needed!
