When you book a night away - for whatever reason - you want to know when you get there that everything's going to be OK. At the Baron at Bucknell it was. Our room (5) was very comfortable and clean (it was obviously only done out quite recently); we ate there and the food was good; so was the breakfast; and the staff are friendly without trying too hard. View from the conservatory (where breakfast and meal were served) isn't too shabby either. So we could just relax. Which is worth 5 stars.
