My wife & I stayed at the Baron for two nights 10th & 11th August in Room 5 which we found to be exceptionally clean and a very comfortable bed with no outside noise to disturb our sleep. The room was recently decorated and very comfortable, the bathroom had recently been modernised to a high standard and even included a whirlpool bath as well as a very efficient modern cubicle shower.Breakfast is excellent with a varied choice and nicely cooked and prepared. The large car park at the rear is a bonus as one is not worried about narrow parking bays and dented car doors! so oftenly found at many country pubs/restaurants. We should certainly stay again if revisiting the area.
