The Baron at Bucknell has got EVERYTHING right. The location is idyllic with a wide selection of beautiful country walks accessible on foot.The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The room was warm, modern, stylish and spotlessly clean, but it is their attention to detail which takes this hotel to a whole new level with a wide selection of toiletries, coffee and tea making accessories, quality biscuits and chocolate, a selection of local brochures and an intelligently written guide to your stay. The bed was comfortable, the towels soft and substantial with a heated rail on which to dry them. Finally, the breakfast offered a wide selection and was delicious. 10/10 - Highly recommended!
