I used this product for 7 full weeks, usually twice per day (on days I wasn't going to be in the sun) and it didn't lighten my pigment AT ALL -- Sadly, 1 star.
Customer service was really helpful and responded in a timely manner when I emailed if there was any steroids in this product and was helpful when I decided to return the product for a refund. 5 star service.
So overall, 3 stars.
