We have been many times. Today went for afternoon tea for three, paid for with a birthday gift voucher. Really lovely gift as the food is great and well presented. Busy because it was at weekend, Beckworths don’t take bookings. Given a ‘buzzer’ to tell us when a table is free. This works well generally, however today we had a 94 year old with us, she couldn’t walk far to look around, or stand for long. It would’ve been nice to have been offered a chair while we waited. After a while we had to firmly insist she be given a chair. I appreciate they would like folks to look around and be tempted to buy but not every customer is able to do that. In summary we could have been made more welcome. Food and food service excellent.
