Ordered Airsprung Quattro guest bed on 2 November and the website said it was in stock but with a lead time of around 2 to 3 weeks. I bought it and the website said the company would contact me once delivery could be arranged. So I waited three weeks for the email to come through. Nothing heard on the date in question so I phoned up and was told that the bed was due in soon and I should hear from the courier. I waited another week and nothing. I chased up again and was told it wasn’t their issue it was the courier used by Airsprung. I am sorry, but my contract is with Bedstar to supply a bed and you cannot wriggle out of delivering to consumer rights just by saying it is someone else’s issue. Finally has a call today from the courier only to be told the earliest they can deliver is 13th December, some 6 weeks after I placed my order. Talk about misleading advertising....I wonder if trading standards will be interested....my next email is to them....
