SCAM - buyers be aware !!!! I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent experience with Bestticketfare. On 11/2/24, I purchased two round-trip tickets from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) on American Airlines. The total cost for both tickets was $321.04, and I expected to receive a confirmation for both tickets. When I did not receive a confirmation, I contacted Bestticketfare customer support on 11/2/24. I was informed that only one of the two tickets was confirmed by American Airlines. Shockingly, I was told that the second ticket would only be available as a standby, which was not disclosed at any point during the purchase process. It is unacceptable to advertise and charge for two confirmed tickets, then change the arrangement without prior notification. Standby seating is not comparable to a confirmed ticket, and this misrepresentation has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. Furthermore, your website’s statement about not guaranteeing accuracy, dependability, or authenticity, combined with a strict no-refund policy, only reinforces my belief that Bestticketfare’s practices are misleading and potentially fraudulent.
