The perennial Odyssey of my life has been to discern a wine to accompany my go to no wife/no children lunch - hamburger Holstein. It is a sublime yet incongruent dish and it has been a challenge to pair the perfect wine with it. The striving has been fun but I have never been completely satisfied. The search is now over. BIB’s latest Portuguese red is bliss on its own but when married to the Holsteiner is very heaven. BIB you have excelled your excellent selves.
