Today I received my 6th Billingham bag in 25 years, a beautiful Hadley Small Pro to carry a Leica M, four lenses and accessories. I have previously got an Alice, Aveo pouches, a Hadley Pro, a Pola Airline and finally this beauty. It's a pleasure seeing the small improvements to the designs (i.e. the new Hadleys sport removable shoulder straps) while maintaining the legendary quality. Even non photographers look at them as something special; made for conossieurs. Once in a hotel elevator a person couldn't resist asking me where I had purchased it and when I mentioned a famous photography store, the guy said: "I'm not a photograher but I'd love one as a carry on bag for travel"; I then showed him the removable insert of my original Hadley Pro and the man said, "I'm definitely getting one, what did you say the name of the store was?". Sadly B&H no longer carries Billingham; gladly, my new bag cost me here the same it would have cost me on their online store, or slightly less, thanks to the better carrier fares. Nevertheless, I shall remain a fan of the brand as the quality, service, design and value is par none. My next order --that I regret not having thought of at the time of my last- will be a couple of large Aveos for lenses and a couple of new straps for my almost 20 year old Hadley Pro.
