Once you've discovered Bold Beans, there's no going back to bland tinned beans. These are beans on the next level and the cooking stock is also delicious. I will admit to eating them straight out of the jar, they're that tasty. But also when used in cooking they add excellent flavour and a soft texture. Adding the stock along with the beans gives sauce based dishes a velvety texture and helps make the sauce homogeneous. I find them more digestible than other beans, I'm assuming it's due to the slow cooking. I particularly love the Queen beans and recently invested in a case of the limited edition Borlotti. I recommend them to everyone, I'm that converted!
