I found Matthew's approach to my requirements empathetic in my circumstance and treated the whole discussion accordingly and with compassion. I could not fault him at all.
My one reservation was that he asked me to reveal my bank details over the telephone for the direct debit. This I was reluctant to do as we are encouraged in the UK for security reasons not to do this to someone you do not know. I was apprehensive as someone had tried to extract £2,000 from my bank account just before last Christmas, hence my concern.
He reassured me that it was OK and I now have the papers from Legal and General and I now know that everything is in order. Thank you Matthew for all your help.
