I ordered some Penelope Chilvers boots that now, having worn them a few times, are obviously defective. Firstly, the tabs that are sewn into the boots to pull them on are not accessible so they're a struggle to get on. Secondly, they gap around my ankles and are very tight around my calves (I have normally sized calves).
So between the pulling up tabs being inaccessible, and the strange shape, they wind up with a strange puff at the ankles.
I've put them in my goodwill pile.
