This item came up not only as a bargain buy, there was also a Christmas reduction as well. I wanted something larger than a thermal mug which fits the bill for longer car journeys &c. The Stanley stainless steel vacuum flasks are a brand name which has been around for over a century which are unbreakable and they do work. This one has a wide mouth which is ideal for ice cream &c on hot days. This is something which can last a lifetime and can be passed down to younger generations. I still have my two pint flask which I bought over 30 years ago.
