The experience you offer generally is good but you prompted me to buy a relatively expensive check which only revealed the car's road tax had lapsed as the 'event that took place'. I knew that already so was very disappointed with what I got for my money. I expected it to be something else that was more useful for me to know. The lapse of road tax is a very, very minimal thing to happen and I wouldn't call it worthy of it being called an 'event'.
