well we did the hpi check and found that it was a cat d which means it been written off but sold back to the owner to repair but he was selling it as a normal car with no catoregies against it and that it had monies owing on it but after speaking to the bank they told me they no longer had any interest in it which in not so many words that the ins paid off the debt
