Don't under estimate the amount of potential work required in advance of a home charge unit install. Yes, you will be guided through what is required, but you need to ensure that your home is ready. Your fuse boxes need to be correct, which may mean they need to be updated and you need to think ahead about how the cabling is going to work in terms of getting it from the fuse box to the actual charger. Plan ahead.
Install was requested in Dec 19, installation happened in Jun 20. Customer Service was very slow and responses to communication took time - caveat with the fact that Covid hit this process, so benefit of the doubt to those involved, but I would have hoped that this would be a minimum 6 week process in reality.
Once we managed to get to the installation it went extremely smoothly. The unit works very well and I have no problems, exactly what I would expect with the installation taking around 2.5hrs to complete.
The downside is the app - totally useless, can't even get registered. Reading other reviews for it, it is a wonder that BP Chargemaster want their name associated with it. I would pull it until you can demonstrate that you're actually interested in your own app. Because at the moment it is clear that you are not. Get that working properly and scores and reviews may improve.
