Excellent installation- very well done as required quickly and cleanly.
The cost of the work was very poorly communicated though. The cost quoted in the first instance was £439. The invoice sent was for £549 plus the cost of an RCB with no explanation for the increase. I paid to get the job done but when I asked for a breakdown I got conflicting replies. The original quote was not apparently updated to account for the reduced grant from March 1st even though it was given on 11th March.
I was then told that BP were only passing on £50 of the £150 increase. I then enquired why my cost had increased by £100. I was told that the increase was really £100 and my dissatisfaction would be referred up but no reply has been forthcoming. I will continue to chase - but I shouldn’t have to!
