I purchased the chilli bottle for my mother, she wanted it because you guaranteed that it kept drinks hot for up to 18 hours. My mother tried differing ways of making her pot of tea, emptying it into the bottle at approx 10 pm so that she could wake up to a hot drink at approx 8 am. Unfortunately the tea was only Luke warm after only 8 hours and undrinkable.
